Founder-led strategy and product for media
Strategy.
Built.
808alpha.studio helps publishers, broadcasters, and media operators turn strategic insight into working products, new revenue ideas, and testable proof, without wasting another quarter on innovation theater.
What We Do
For media companies that need more than a deck.
Some problems need a roadmap. Some need a working product. The best engagements know which is which, and move quickly between them.
01 — Strategy
Research, framing, and strategic direction
When the opportunity is real but the path is still foggy, 808alpha.studio helps define the problem, pressure-test the logic, and map a direction that is specific enough to act on. Audience, revenue, digital products, workflow change, platform bets, and media business model questions all live here.
02 — Build
MicroSaaS, alpha products, and proof loops
When strategy is not enough, the next move is to build the thing that proves the idea. Fast alphas, internal tools, product prototypes, monetization systems, and reusable platform patterns that let smart operators learn early and scale selectively.
Platform Suite
A product lens on media’s hardest problems.
These are not random SaaS concepts. They are repeated media problems translated into product patterns, then refined into platforms that can be tested, adapted, or licensed.
01 — Audience
Audience Intelligence Platform
Identity, segmentation, and audience infrastructure designed for media companies that need sharper customer intelligence.
Alpha02 — Community
Community Data Platform
Turn audience participation, replies, and community behavior into structured signal instead of letting it disappear into noise.
Alpha03 — Revenue
Monetization Engine
Create and test new revenue products without needing a large internal product or engineering team.
In Development04 — CTV
CTV Platform
A practical path into connected television for media brands entering the living room with modern distribution in mind.
In Development05 — Broadcast
Digital TV Station in a Box
Lean digital channel infrastructure for operators who want to launch, test, and evolve without traditional broadcast baggage.
Alpha06 — Audio
Streaming Audio Channel
Programming, distribution, and monetization infrastructure for media companies building audio-first products.

About Guy
Guy Tasaka brings together two long careers that rarely live in the same person. One in media strategy, research, and planning. One in product, platform thinking, and execution. 808alpha.studio sits at that intersection.
The model is intentionally founder-led and compact. The value is not in adding process for its own sake. It is in seeing patterns early, framing opportunities clearly, and translating them into work that can be tested in the real world.
That may mean strategic direction. It may mean a product alpha. It may mean proving a revenue idea before an organization commits too much time, money, or politics to it. The point is to reduce fog and increase signal.
Start a Project
Let’s talk about what you’re building.
The best engagements start with a direct conversation. Clear problem. Clear opportunity. Clear sense of whether a strategy engagement, a build engagement, or both is the right next move.
If there is a real opportunity on the table, the fastest way forward is to book time directly. If you are still framing the problem, the note form below works just as well.
Or send a brief note.
If you are not ready to book time yet, use the form below. Keep it short. A clear problem statement is enough to start.
